Chicago has so many beautiful places to hold a wedding. When it comes to planning there are many facts the happy couple needs to consider. For example, the time of year, where they want it, how many people will be in attendance, the reception, and what type of wedding venue. They also need to decide if there will be food and what flavor of cake they want.
Three of the months popular to get married are June, September, and October. Most people believe June is the best month to hold a wedding because of the warm summer weather. However, September and October have surpassed June’s popularity in recent years.
Best Month Statistics
June took third place in 2019 with 13% of all marriages that year being held that then. September stood at 15% with October holding the number one spot at 16%. Last year 77% of all the weddings taking place occurred during the summer and fall timeframe.
Wintertime can hold severely cold weather and snow. Something Chicago experiences every year. However, if someone wants to have their marriage ceremony in winter there are several beautiful indoor accommodations the happy couple can choose from.
A wedding is a joyous occasion. One that should have beautiful scenery to help highlight the effervescent experience.
